The Romanesque choral tower dates approx. from 1200. It is the only remains of the old parish church Saint Andreas which is mentioned in a document from the 31st of March, 1131 for the first time. Today the tower with the chapel in the open apse serves as a memorial.

The building is listed in Liste der Baudenkmäler in Rüngsdorf.
