Die Aussichtsplattform des City-Hochhauses bietet einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf das gesamte Stadtgebiet von Leipzig. Ein Fahrstuhl fährt bis hoch zum Panorama Tower – Restaurant. Von dort kann die Aussichtsplattform bestiegen werden. Der Eintritt kostet 3€ (Stand 04.2017).
Das City-Hochhaus ist das 25-höchste Hochhaus Deutschlands und ein Wahrzeichen von Leipzig. Es entstand von 1968 bis 1972 nach Entwürfen des Architekten Hermann Henselmann und wurde in den Jahren 1999 bis 2002 komplett saniert. Nach seiner Fertigstellung 1972 war es für ein Jahr das höchste Hochhaus Deutschlands.

The view platform of the City-Hochhaus offers a wonderful view of the entire urban area of Leipzig. An elevator goes up to the Panorama Tower restaurant. From there, the viewing platform can be climbed. The fee is 3 € (04.2017).
The City-Hochhaus is the 25-tallest high-rise building in Germany and a landmark of Leipzig. It was built from 1968 to 1972 according to designs by the architect Hermann Henselmann and was completely renovated between 1999 and 2002. After its completion in 1972 it was for one year the highest high-rise in Germany.
