The six-tower array is southeast of the intersection of Moodie and Barnsdale. Each tower has a small building at its base. The most southerly tower, the tower nearest the entrance lane, has a larger building at its base.
In 2017, CFGO broadcasts in the all-sports format at 50,000 Watts on the frequency of 1200 kHz. The station's studio is in the Byward Market in downtown Ottawa. There is a
legacy tower above that studio.
This radio station first went on the air in 1964 as CKPM at 1440 kHz using the middle-of-the-road music format. In 1972, the station changed to CFGO and to the Top 40 music format. In 1984, the frequency was changed to 1200 kHz. In 1986, the format was changed to adult rock music but then back to the contemporary hit radio format (Energy 1200) in 1988. CFGO adopted the current all-sports format in 1998.
