EN: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Basel is located in St. Johanns Quarter, not far from the well-known former city gate from the Middle Ages.
The house is a long-drawn two-storey building with a gabled central projection, which can hardly be classified stylistically.
The municipality has around 300 members. Worship time is on Sundays at 10:00.
I could not find any details about their history, but in 1937 the community of Pratteln was founded as a subsidiary. Thus, the community of Basel must be older than that.
DE: Die Kirche Jesu Christi der Heiligen der Letzten Tage von Basel befindet sich in St. Johannsquartier unweit des bekannten ehemaligen Stadttors aus dem Mittelalter.
Das Haus ist ein langezogenes zweistöckiges Gebäude mit einem Mittelrisalit, das sich stilistisch kaum einordnen lässt.
Die Gemeinde zählt rund 300 Mitglieder. Gottesdienst ist Sonntags um 10:00.
Über die Geschichte konnte ich keine Details finden, aber 1937 wurde die Gemeinde Pratteln als Tochtergemeinde gegründet. Die Gemeinde Basel muss also älter sein.
