TEUFELSTISCH
In front of the Burgpforte is a mighty, upwards expanding rock block with oval plate, the legendary devil's table. On the plate of this peculiar rocky mass, you can still see deep holes, which according to legend are from iron maps with which the devil has played together with goblins and ghosts. In reality, these holes could be traces of a pavilion that was demolished in the late 19th century. The only proof of this is a work by the copper technician Gerd Könitzer, who in the middle of the nineteenth century made several engravings of the forestry with the buildings.
