I am led to believe this entrance with it's wrought iron gate was erected around 1910. Since the church was built in 1897, that seems reasonable to me.
The gate is wrought iron, with larger bars as the border structure with medium size bars in vertical filling up the space. In the center of each wing is and elaborate scroll of wrought iron with tear drop and topping each "rung" are alternating loops and spear heads.
Rising above the mundane in flat iron letters is the word OAK GROVE to identify the cemetery.

Actual history is hard to find. The Warren County Historical Society has one line in their book about the county history accompanying a photo: Below is the Oak Grove Baptist Church, built in 1897.
