Der aus Tuff bestehende Römerkeller entstand beim Abbau des vulkanischen Gesteins im Untertagebau. Seit dem 1. / 2. Jh. n. Chr. ist der Gesteinsabbau in Kruft nachweisbar.
Das seit 1987 unter Denkmalschutz stehende Kulturdenkmal bestehend aus einer quadratischen Fläche mit zwei Mittelstützen."

[EN] "The Römerkeller, made of tuff stone, were formed as a result of the excavation of the volcanic rock during mining works. There is evidence of stone quarryingin Kruft from the 1st and 2nd centuries AD. The site, protected since 1987 as a cultural monument, consists of a quadratic area with two central supports."
