This series of six stories is a loose continuation of the series Town Square and Village Green and we return to some of their characters to follow the next phase in their lives. The stories mainly pivot round family relationships, and children in particular - after all, children are our future. We bring them up and look after them - but how well and for how long? We adore them - but how long? And sometimes we lose touch altogether.

Seriál scenáristy Jana Míky Príkopy je volným pokracováním seriálových rad Náves a Námestícko. Príkopy jsou okrajová mestská cást, kde se celá šestice príbehu odehrává. Znovu se setkáme s bývalou trafikantkou paní Plecitou a jejím synem Mildou, bývalou ucitelkou materské školy Lucií Veselou a jejím staromládeneckým prítelem Jetelem a divadelním reditelem Šmídem. Novými postavami jsou napríklad Jetelova obetavá sestra Ruža nebo emigrant Karl Lopusny. Hlavním tématem seriálu jsou vztahy mezi rodici a detmi.
