CJLL-FM is one of only two stations still using a radio tower in downtown Ottawa. The other station is CJWL. The more powerful stations use transmission towers that are distant from the downtown core.

The CJLL antenna is atop Place de Ville, Tower C, the tallest building in Ottawa. Being on the tallest building in the city, there should be some interesting spots for photography.

CJLL is part of the CHIN Radio/TV International network, broadcasting programming for audiences of varied ethnic groups. The station is named for the company founder John BarbaLinardo Lombardi.
