From the Sisters Ranger Station travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for about 4.2 miles. Turn right onto FR1012, the Cold Spring Cutoff, and continue about 1.5 miles, generally NNE, to the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on galvanized iron pipe; rising 6"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is E, about 570' from FR1012. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes. The one in the NW quadrant has an ATTENTION sign on the backside. A faded yellow sign is mounted on a red T-post which bears N from the corner, 51" distant.


What property is this mark defining?:
Deschutes National Forest land all around
