This is a natural thing in Missouri...the spring growth of Red Clover...in pastures and really, really strong in last years plowed fields.
The pasture (not this one) clover is usually devoured by horses and bovines, goats, and sheep...and young girls who link them into head pieces. A ritual from the past, and today for the preservation of this locality, collection or picking is prohibited
The plowed field clover, like this one, is usually plowed under in May or June, depending on what the farmer is going to plant there. The next spring, WOLA!! they are back.
Google says the Ole Town Bar & Grills is here...boy they got that wrong...nothing is here.
