At the 'Maurischer Garten' (Moorish Garden) inside the zoo 'Wilhelma' in Stuttgart, Germany, Baden-Württemberg exists an old Whispering Gallery that is nearly unknown to the public. Its existance was forgotten for nearly 150 years.
The presence of the whisper gallery was unknown or forgotten. Only in 2010, when a physicist, who was a visitor to the zoo, discovered it by accident, was this publicly known.
The buildings of the 'Maurischer Garten' have been created in 1844.
The whispering gallery works on all 4 half-rounded corners of the building over a distance of 35-40 meters.
There's a small information board about it.
The whispering gallery is INSIDE the zoo! You have to pay an entrance fee to the zoo to get acceess!
Proof of visit: Please send me a message with the distance in meters written on the information board found nearby to the Aquarium's entrance.
