There are few recreational facilities one won't find in this park. The facilities which are here include a large grassed soccer area, large enough for several soccer fields, a Greengym with 15 pieces of Greengym equipment, installed in 2012; a walking path, the Millenium Walkway; natural (manmade) swimming ponds, beaches, a kiddies playground, Pickle Ball Court, Tennis Courts, Volleyball, Water Polo, Bike Park, Dog Park and a Concession Stand.

At a slightly slower pace, the park has several benches and picnic tables, as well as covered pavilions and washrooms in at least two locations. There are several historical markers in the park, relating stories of the locality and the river, not to mention a Canadian National Historic Site, a plaque in recognition of David Thompson, fur trader, surveyor and map maker, thought to be the "greatest land geographer who ever lived." The plaque is very close to the location where Thompson camped on the night of September 5th, 1811 on his trip down the Columbia. The park is also home to several great sculptures.
