This wooden lizard would be bigger than a Komodo Dragon, and stands above a tessellated brick area out the front of the local indigenous radio station, 2TLP, Ngarralinyi, 103.3 FM, "The Listenin Place".
Some 'footprints' are worked into the brick pavement, to show which shops the lizard has been 'visiting'.
Unfortunately there is no plaque explaining and detailing this great piece.
The name of the sculptor was provided by the radio station.
By the 'wear' or polishing around the 'shoulders' of the lizard, it may have been used as a 'Sit-on-Me' sculpture by children.
