This freestanding painted barn quilt is located in downtown Port Burwell near the historic Port Burwell Lighthouse. Placed by the Port Burwell Historical Society in 2012, the quilt is located near the historic lighthouse and Port Burwell Marine Museum.
"The Compass Rose has appeared on maps and charts since the 1300's, as an aid to navigation. This quilt pattern is installed near the 1840 lighthouse, an important aid to navigation on the Lake Erie North Shore."
