ZÁMECKÁ OBORA
Obora Kralice je velmi starý objekt, její založení je ruznými autory uvádeno odlišne. Dancí zver v okolí Námešte musela být již pred husitskými válkami. Mestecko Mohelno, které leží nedaleko obory Kralice má ve znaku danka od roku 1417. Tehdejší majitel, Petr z Mohelna, prívrženec krále Zikmunda, vyžádal, aby mestecku Mohelnu byl udelen nový znak. Král svolil, aby mestecko prijalo znak Petruv se sedícím dankem ve stredním zlatém poli.
Dancí zver na Mohelno a Námeštské panství pravdepodobne dovezl Jan mladší z Mezirící, který od roku 1377 vlastnil Námešt a od roku 1398 také Mohelno. Pobýval velmi casto na válecných výpravách v Lombardii a je možné, že dancí zver byla soucástí jeho válecné koristi.
Je doloženo, že již roku 1437 prodali "velký les okolo hradu Námešcského", což je bezpochyby dnešní obora, spolu s hradem, vsí a dalším majetkem Václav a Jirí ze Strážnice panu Matejovi ze Švamberka. Není však jasné, zda byl les v té dobe již ohrazen. Nejpozdeji mohlo dojít k ohrazení za panování rodu Žerotínu, nejspíše za Jana staršího ze Žerotína, který byl v letech 1561 - 1583 zemským sudím a hejtmanem kraje brnenského, námeštské panství rozšíril a hrad Námešt obnovil. Když prodával v roce 1628 Karel starší ze Žerotína celé zboží Albrechtovi z Valdštejna, v trhové smlouve je uvedeno "hrad a mestecko Námešt... se dvorem poplužným, pivovarem, mlejnem, oborou, dvur Velký pole recený pri obore..." atd. Domníváme se tedy, že obora byla založena nejpozdeji v prubehu 16. století.
Poslední majitelé Námešte byl rod Haugwitzu (1752 - 1945). Tito obhospodarovali oboru již v dnešní velikosti (290 ha). Byla však rozdelena na dve cásti - 240 ha dancí zver, 50 ha zver srncí a bažanti.
V roce 1945 bylo poškozeno ohrazení obory a došlo k úniku zvere do okolí. V obore zustalo pouze 40 - 50 kusu dancí zvere.
Od roku 1945 do ríjna 1992 obhospodarovaly oboru Kralice Státní lesy. Po tranformaci listopad 1992 - brezen 1993 Lesní spolcenost Námešt nad Oslavou a.s. Od 1.4. 1993 spravuje oboru Kralice LCR, s.p., lesní správa Námešt nad Oslavou.

Obora leží mezi obcí Kralice, Otradice a Námeští nad Oslavou ve východní cásti okresu Trebíc. V nadmorské výšce 360 - 480 m n.m. Terénne je obora v západní cásti hodne clenitá, s prudšími svahy, zatímco strední cást je rovinatá a východní cást tvorí ploché údolí. V obore pramení 4 potucky, které i vdobe sucha mají vodu. V severozápadním cípu a ve východním cípu jsou na techto potocích zrízeny malé retencní rybnícky, které slouží zveri jako napajedla. Ve východní cásti byl obnoven rybník. V obore prevládají porosty, v nichž byla po celá desetiletí provádena jen nahodilá težba. Celková délka ohrazení obory je 8970 m.
Dominantní stavbou je Lusthaus, stojící uprostred obory. Tento klasicistní zámecek dal postavit v první polovine 19. stol. majitel panství Jindrich Haugwitz.
