Located at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park in Buffalo, New York, this plaque is dedicated in honor of all veterans and members of the 127th Tank Battalion of the New York Army National Guard.

This plaque was placed on their 50th anniversary on 1997. It was donated by the 127th Tank Battalion Association.

History of the 127th:
First organized in 1947 the 127th joined the 27th Infantry Division and was reorganized into the 27th Armored Division in 1955. The 27th Armored is also known as the Empire Division after the Empire State.

The division was originally headquartered in Buffalo before being moved to Syracuse. The 27th Armored Division was inactivated in 1968.
