This plaque is located at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park in Buffalo, New York on the side of the main building. It is dedicated in memory and honor of all veterans and members who served in the 106th Field Artillery in World War I and World War II.

The WWI regiment fought from 1917-1919 in battles such as the Somme, Ypres and Argonne. They were a 155mm Howizter regiment in the 27th Infantry Division.


The WWI Units and Battalion fought from 1942-1945 in the Pacific theatre, most famously in the Battle of Okinawa.

The Unit's colors were retired on February 16, 1968.

The plaque was donated by the 106th Field Artillery Veterans Association on May 30th, 1998.
