Separate grey granite block tombstones for husband and wife O. B. and Jessie Thrift feature Wooden of the World and Woodmen's Circle logos.
The tombstones read (from front to back at the plot) as follows:
"[WC logo]
JESSIE OLEAN THRIFT
Oct 27, 1891
Nov 27, 1918
Gone but not forgotten"
and
"[WoW logo]
Willow Tree Camp No. 2084
O. B. THRIFT
Nov 14, 1891
Jan 20, 1916
Gone but not forgotten"
Blasterz were able to find out a bit more information on Ancestry.
On her death certificate, Jeesie (Stearns) Thrift is listed as dying of Influenza Pneumonia, with a toxic infection also contributing to her death.
Sadly, we also learned they lost a child: An unnamed son who was born prematurely on 19 Dec 1912 and lived for 7 hours before dying that same day.
The child was also buried at Magnolia Cemetery, but we didn't see a tombstone for him.
We were not able to find a death certificate for O. B. Thrift, but we did learn that his given name was Oscar.
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
