A local obituary from the Seattle Times reads:

Lillian Marie HEINTZ Lillian Marie Heintz, 67, passed away April 2, 2012 at home in Seattle Washington, surrounded by her loving family. Lillian suffered from a rare lung disease that required a lung transplant. She received a new lung in September of 2010 at the University of Washington Medical Center. She was very grateful for the transplant which gave her a new lease on life. Unfortunately, she had a number of complications in the following months. She had an incredibly positive attitude all throughout her life. Lillian was an amazing teacher, business owner and dedicated volunteer that loved her family very much. Lillian was preceded in death by both her parents, Irwin and Helen Munson of Vancouver, Washington. She is survived by Philip, her husband of 44 years, 2 sons, 4 grandchildren, along with a sister, brother and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Services in Washington will be held on April 28th at 2:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 10420 SE 11th St., Bellevue, Washington. For those wanting to send flowers please direct your efforts to a donation. Lillian asked that everyone support the Lung Transplant Program at the University of Washington. Folks can send memorial gifts by check to UW Medicine - Lung Transplant Program Training and Education Fund, Box 358045, Seattle, WA 98195-8045. She also asked that you please consider being an organ donor, it truly saves lives
