Established in 2002 the Stratford Walk of Fame is dedicated to important Stratford citizens or people who have improved Stratford. Located outside the Avon Theatre (one of the major theatres in the Stratford Shakespeare Festival), the bronze stars are put into the pavement around the theatre.
The Walk of Fame is presented by the City of Stratford and the Stratford Festival. Past inductees include Justin Bieber, Lloyd Robertson and Agnes MacPhail. Ceremonies are usually held Canada Day (July 1st) and 4 people are selected each year, two by Stratford and two by the Stratford Festival.
