Die Kongress Bar befindet sich oberhalb der Theresienwiese im ehemaligen Teehaus der 1952 erbauten Kongresshalle. Ihre Innenarchitektur orientiert sich am Stil dieser Epoche und schafft somit ein zeitloses Ambiente, das Gäste jeden Alters dazu einlädt, für ein paar Stunden den Alltag hinter sich zu lassen und die schöne Atmosphäre dieser Bar zu genießen.
Drinks und Cocktails werden im klassischen Stil zubereitet, wobei ein besonderes Merkmal auf die verschiedenen Manhatten Variationen gelegt wird.
Die Kongressbar ist unter anderem wegen ihrer exzellenten Live Bands und DJ Abende zu einem Geheimtipp unter Münchnern geworden. Fast jeden Freitag im Monat treten unterschiedliche Live Bands auf, unter dem Motto „Momente“, die im Bereich Swing, Jazz, Funk und Soul musizieren. Jeden letzten Samstag im Monat findet der „Kongress Jam“ statt, wo verschiedene Musiker sich die Bühne teilen dürfen, um ihren Teil zu dem musikalischen Abend zusammen mit Adriano Prestel beizutragen.
Direkt neben der Kongress Bar befindet sich das Wirtshaus am Bavat´riapark, welches den selben Gastwirten gehört.

The Congress Bar is located above Theresienwiese in the former tea house built in 1952. Its interior architecture is inspired by the style of this era, creating a timeless ambience that invites guests of all ages to leave their daily routine behind and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of this bar.
Drinks and cocktails are prepared in a classic style, with a special feature of the different Manhatten variations.
The congress bar has become an insider tip among Munichers among other things because of their excellent live bands and DJ evenings. Almost every Friday of the month, different live bands perform, under the motto "Moments", which play in the area of ??swing, jazz, funk and soul. Every last Saturday of the month the "Congress Jam" takes place, where different musicians can share the stage, to contribute their part to the musical evening together with Adriano Prestel.
Directly next to the Congress Bar is the host house at the Bavat'riapark, which belongs to the same innkeepers.
