Der Karl-Marx-Hof ist einer der bekanntesten Gemeindebauten Wiens und liegt im 19. Bezirk Döbling.
Während des Ständestaates wurde der Karl-Marx-Hof in Heiligenstädter Hof umbenannt. Nach dem „Anschluss“ an das Deutsche Reich wurden 1938/39 66 Familien vom NS-Regime aus dem Karl Marx-Hof vertrieben. Davon kamen mindestens 29 ehemalige Bewohner im Holocaust um. Erst viele Jahre nach dem Krieg wurde eine schwarze Gedenktafel am Hof angebracht.

During the "Ständestaat" (corporative state), the Karl-Marx-Hof was renamed Heiligenstädter Hof. After the "Anschluss" (annexation) to the German Reich, 66 families from the Nazi regime were expelled from the Karl Marx Hof in 1938/39. At least 29 former inhabitants were killed in the Holocaust.
