County of field: St. Charles County
Location of field: Old US 61 (Bus.), behind the legion post, Wentzville

The American Legion team still plays legion ball here, but like so many other small Mid-Missouri cities and towns, this field has been taken away from the legion so the city can make the money from rentals, and amateur play.

Back in the '50s I played a lot of ball on this field.

Excellent surface for ground ball handling, outfield firm but not hard. Balls behave predictable, great to play on. Keep in good shape even after the city took it.
Little League and co-ed games now played here in addition to Legion Ball
