Peaceful Warrior is the work of Miguel C. Lechuga, sponsored by Midwestern State University. She stands, rearing on her hind legs, and is detailed in multiple colors. Her head and mane are red with white polka dots, while her body is mostly yellow, with black thunderbolts that might be a nod to Charlie Brown from "Peanuts". Note the red circular patterns that resemble bullseyes. Her belly has a light blue oval with a red handprint, and her legs are dark green, blue, light green, and black. Her tail is red with white lines and dots, and there are a few Native American symbols to be seen at the tops of her legs.

The project raised $144,000 for Patsy's House, the Faith Mission, and Downtown Wichita Falls Development, Inc, and remain today throughout the city as a contribution to public art. Leadership Wichita Falls, Inc. is a local non-profit organization dedicated to developing community leaders through a community orientation and leadership program.
