"Popular Guide regular which draws an audience from miles around. The interior, unpolluted by music or TV, features beams and inglenook fireplaces with solid fuel stoves. Seven guest ales always include a mild, and Griffin Inn ales from the recently upgraded on-site brewery. Always one real cider, up to four in summertime. A large, busy beer festival is the highlight of summer. Children are welcome in the conservatory, beer terrace and meadow-style garden. No food is served on Sunday.
