Along with adjacent properties this is most probably C18th, brick built on a plinth with a first floor band, two storied with a single flush-framed window on the upper floor. The entrance and ground floor window both have segmental heads, the latter of three-lights and sashed. It is now Grade II listed along with the adjacent no.s 1 and 3.
This house was in use as a Baker and confectioner from 1894 until 1952 run by E.J.Rose & Son. A sepia and white picture seen in 'Hunstanton & Wells Next-the-Sea Through Time' by Michael Rouse and taken in, I guess, the early 1920s shows a partial of no.7 with two advertising plaques fixed above the floor band, one is for E.ROSE, BAKER, the other is only partial for HOVIS,...DE DAILY.
The Blue Plaque was placed here to commemorate this use by the Wells Local History Group, it is next to the boundary of the property just beneath the floor band.
