This unusual museum is dedicated to a dramatic chapter in modern history, written in Sicily in the summer of 1943. This cultural space pays homage to those who fell in the Battle of Sicily, but also provides a lesson of peace.

The museum is on three floors above ground and occupies an area of ??about 3,000 square meters. In the first part of the museum, a typical Sicilian city is reconstructed to show conditions that characterized life before, during and after the war.

There is a small movie room in which the visitor can watch an introductory film about World War II and on the events immediately preceding the Allied landings.

Other rooms contain mainly showcases displaying objects belonging to the different parties: Italian, German, American and English
