"CUPPETT Georgia Mae Cuppett, age 102, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL. Georgia was born April 24, 1913 in River Junction, Florida to Claude B. and Annie Eloise (Holt) Spear Sr. Sr. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph A. Cuppett and daughter Margaret C. McIlvaine. She was a member of Riverside Park Methodist Church. Georgia played the piano, enjoyed gardening, was an excellent seamstress, as well as a cook. Georgia leaves to cherish her daughter Carolyn C. Thornton; ex son-in-law Daniel Thornton M.D., grandchildren Daniel Thornton Jr. (partner Adrian Rodriguez) and Allison Stonis (Luke); great grandchildren Jack Stonis and Adeline Stonis; nieces Beth Patterson and Katie Schultz. Family will receive friends and family 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm Wednesday September 23, 2015 at Hardage Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073. Funeral service will follow the visitation at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at Evergreen Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205."
