Shaw trust is a national charity providing employment opportunities, skills development training and health and well-being services.

The charity was formed in 1982 in the village of Shaw in Wiltshire to support local disabled people to find employment. Since then Shaw Trust has grown and now supports over 50,000 people a year to live independent and inclusive lives.

Shaw Trust’s retail shops are an important part of their charitable fundraising activities. The funds they raise are reinvested into the communities in which they operate. The shops are run by Shaw Trust staff and a large number of dedicated volunteers, and also provide work experience and skills training for many of their clients who are seeking to create brighter futures for themselves by moving into retail careers.
