This Stone is one of a series of hexagonal Millennium Stones placed in the towns, villages and parishes of the Isle of Man to mark the millennium.
Port Erin is in the south-west of the Isle of Man and sit on a wounderful bay which is the backdrop for the Millennium Stone which is on top of the cliffs near the Falcon's Nest Hotel.

This 'monolith is made from Poyllvaaish marble.'
