This church is located right next to our hotel, the Barlovento Resort, where we stayed in February 2017. The church is open only on Saturdays for the weekly mass of 5:00 pm. We were lucky enough to see the very simple interior a few minutes before leaving for the airport.
It is a small church made of cement blocks and wood with a typical red tile roof and a tall bell tower, also in cement blocks, holding a single bell. It is surrounded by a fence and a locked door that is opened only on Saturday afternoon. Inside the church, a Christ on the cross decorates the wall above the altar.
