This memorial area also has a memorial to all of those who are buried here, known and unknown, along with the cemetery's Texas Historical Marker and a marker noting that a chapel once stood here until storms took it away from us in 1986. There are two benches on each side of the enclosure, for reflection or for a good rest after exploring this interesting cemetery, which dates to the 1840s.
