Some people will inevitably notice the Elk first, some the Griz. The Grizzly Bear is skulking beneath the large Revelstoke Lodge sign, while the Elk cavorts on the roof of the building. When we passed he was standing placidly over the entrance, seemingly without a care in the world. Given that Elk hunting is disallowed within city limits, he'll likely stay there indefinitely.

The Griz appears to be made of cast concrete, but we couldn't get close enough to the Elk to ascertain his composition with certainty, but he appears to be a "Bronze Elk".
