The Caroline County Veterans Memorial Clock stand on the court house square in Bowling Green, Virginia. Built at a cost of $15,000, the clock was dedicated on Veterans Day in 2001. The Base of the clock is inscribed with the words, "For those who fought for it, freedom has a taste the protected will never know." The the clock has a white face with roman numerals and standard hands. It is mounted on an ornate black pole which is mounted on a granite base. There is no name on the clock itself or on the decorative plate on top of the clock. The clock is in good working order and is well maintained.
