Established in 1914 by Joseph Jindra, this farm was originally a dairy farm. Later, it became a wheat farm and cattle ranch. A member of the Jindra family still lives on the property.
The original farmhouse is no longer here, nor is a later farm house where the current resident's father grew up. A photo of this second farmhouse taken in 2000 is shown in the photo gallery and was located where the current garage stands.
The farm is located one-quarter mile east of the intersection of Highway 33 and 2950 Road. An aerial photo of the property shows the residence to be in the southwest corner of the farm.
