Lovingly Remembering

Emmie Stiles Anderson

with the rise of each full moon

Given by Lori Wright

=========================================

"Emmie Wilson Stiles Anderson, age 82, passed away at home unexpectedly Saturday, March 15, 2014. She was born in Rolla, Kansas on July 6, 1931, and graduated from Rogers High School in 1949.

Emmie loved her family whole-heartedly and fiercely. As the head of her family, she generously gave of herself, and shared her knowledge and passions, enriching the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was such a joy to be around, and kept us laughing with her mischievous sense of humor and her outspoken ways.

One way Emmie praised God was through her natural talent for growing flowers, and sharing them with anyone she could. She cultivated beauty all around for the purpose of giving blessings to others. She was deeply awed by God's fantastic creations until the day she died. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville. She was a charter member of the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks, and supported the organization from the ground up, vigorously encouraging its inception. Emmie was never afraid to stand up for what she believed in, and was strongly convicted in preserving the pristine beauty of Arkansas.

Emmie loved her large circle of life-long friends, who adored her for her young spirit, and for her fun and colorful personality. She was a breath of fresh air! Her over-the top 4th of July parties will not soon be forgotten! She was our rock, and she has made her mark. Her charitable and generous heart beats on!"
