"Claudia Yoe Galloway, 61, of Springdale, died August 18, 2009 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born December 16, 1947 in Manhattan, Kansas to Claude and Wanda McCreight.
Her childhood was spent in Purcell, OK; Ft. Smith, AR; Ft. Worth, TX and Brazil as her father was a geologist. She learned to speak fluent Portuguese. She moved to Fayetteville, AR in her teen years and was adopted by Clay Bevins Yoe. Claudia graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1966 and attended the University of Arkansas.
Claudia married Kenneth Lynn Galloway August 26, 1967 and moved to Springdale.
Claudia was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Springdale, and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross."
