The sculpture was an entrant in the 2008 "Sculptures by the Sea" exhibition on Cottesloe Beach and was purchased by the Town of Cottesloe as part of their evolving collection for permanent display for the public to enjoy.
On the bottom of the accompanying plaque is the statement :-
"An attempt to find balance between the various states that make us human which seem more fractured in modern society"
