Die Schlossanlage Schleißheim liegt in der Gemeinde Oberschleißheim im Landkreis München.

Es handelt sich um einen Komplex von drei einzelnen Schlossbauten des 17. und 18. Jahrhunderts, die durch eine großzügige Gartenanlage axial miteinander verbunden sind. Das Areal umfasst das westlich gelegene Alte Schloss Schleißheim, das benachbarte Neue Schloss Schleißheim und das am Ostende des Parks gelegene Schloss Lustheim.

Schleißheim gehört mit zu den größten Residenzen im Münchner Raum und wird zu den bedeutendsten Barockanlagen Deutschlands gezählt. Die Schlossanlage ist Teil der Bayerischen Verwaltung der staatlichen Schlösser, Gärten und Seen. Alle drei Schlösser und der Park können besichtigt werden.

Der Schleißheimer Garten mit seinen begrenzenden Kanälen und der ausgedehnten Boskettzone zwischen Lustheim und Neuem Schloss wurde von Henrico Zucalli im Zusammenhang mit der Errichtung von Schloss Lustheim ab 1684 konzipiert.

The Schleissheim castle complex is located in the municipality of Oberschleissheim in the district of Munich.

It is a complex of three individual castle buildings of the 17th and 18th century, which are connected axially by a generous garden area. The site includes the Old Schleissheim Palace, the neighboring Neue Schleissheim Palace and the Schloss Lustheim, located at the eastern end of the park.

Schleissheim is one of the largest residences in the Munich area and is one of the most important baroque buildings in Germany. The castle complex is part of the Bavarian administration of the state castles, gardens and lakes. All three castles and the park can be visited.

The "Schleissheimer Hofgarten" with its narrow canals and the extensive Boskettzone between Lustheim and the new castle was designed by Henrico Zucalli in connection with the construction of Schloss Lustheim from 1684 onwards.
