Old postcards show this as the Baptist church (Postmark: 1906 Feb-28 Harpursville NY). The Baptists built a newer church not too far from here.

This is an old white wood traditional looking church with stained glass windows by an old cemetery. The church was run by the Baptist until sometime after the 1924 history of the area was written, and after the book celebrating the 150 year history was written in 1961. The Religious Structures site found this as Belden Chapel and the Baptist Church was listed separately. The photos below on the Religious Structures site show newer cushioned seats inside and modern sound equipment. There seems to be an emphasis on children's activities on the Facebook page. Sermons are listed on the Facebook page. The church website does not work anymore. This church is listed under its own name rather than a denomination on the town list of churches. This has the appearance of an older church building that is now run by an independent minister.
