Transformatorenstation Dorfstrasse - Dittingen, BL, Switzerland - Historic Transformer Sub-Stations Buildings on Waymarking.com

EN: This old transformer tower is located slightly elevated east of the Dorfstrasse in the north of Dittingen.

The tower is about eight meters high and has a saddle roof. The entrance has a wooden canopy with bricks; on the south side, a peculiar metal arch stands out from the gable, I have no idea what it was used for. The mountings of the insulators are still clearly visible.

The station is apparently no longer in operation. The door is not completely closed and ivy grows to the inside. On the other hand, certain parts of the façade appear to have recently been given some new paint.

DE: Dieser alte Transformatorenturm steht etwas erhöht östlich der Dorfstrasse im Norden von Dittingen.

Der Turm ist rund acht Meter hoch und hat ein Satteldach. Der Eingang hat ein hölzernes Vordach mit Ziegeln und an der Südseite ragt ein eigenartiger Metallbogen aus dem Giebel, dessen Funktion ich mir nicht erklären kann. Die Halterungen der Isolatoren sind noch gut zu erkennen.

Die Station ist offenbar nicht mehr in Betrieb. Die Tür ist nicht ganz geschlossen und es wächst Efeu hinein. Andererseits scheinen gewisse Teile der Fassade erst kürzlich einen neuen Anstrich erhalten zu haben.
