Along the Lake Fayetteville walking / bicycling trail, there is a NRHP-listed spot where the old Butterfield Stagecoach trail can still be seen. At this spot, hikers and bikers can read a historic plaque, and view the old trail. Also at this spot are two lovely period-piece benches that fit in with the theme of the area. They are sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank.
