Benchmark F33 is located about 3 miles NE of Currant, Nevada, at the junction of U.S. Hwy. 6 and NV Hwy 379. The cap is set in a limestone outcrop about 30 feet west of highway centerline. The cap was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1933 and was marked F33 1933.

RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1984 RECOVERED IN GOOD CONDITION, NEW DESCRIPTION FOLLOWS. 4.3 KM (2.7 MI) NORTHEAST ALONG US HIGHWAY 6 FROM ITS JUNCTION WITH STATE HIGHWAY 379 AT CURRANT, IN TOP OF AND 3.0 METERS (10 FT) NORTH OF THE SOUTH END OF A 20 BY 30 FOOT LIMESTONE OUTCROP PROJECTING 1 FOOT ABOVE THE SURFACE OF THE GROUND, 0.4 KM (0.25 MI) SOUTHWEST OF MILEPOST 121, AT THE SOUTH END OF A CURVE AND 9.1 METERS (30 FT) WEST OF THE HIGHWAY CENTERLINE. THE MARK IS 0.4 METERS N FROM A WITNESS POST. THE MARK IS 0.6 M ABOVE THE HIGHWAY.
