This retaining wall is located at 1653 Bailey Street just east of 4th Avenue. The safest place to park will be on 4th Avenue, it is just a short walk to this dated retaining wall. Bailey Street is very busy, so please use caution.

Trail is well known for their rock walls with construction beginning in the 1920s, and continued as make-work projects, a legacy of the Dirty Thirties. Also in the 50s and 60s the rock wall construction continued as well as the concrete retaining walls as seen here on Bailey Street.

The date is simply "1965" etched in the concrete
