Late-Gothic and Renaissance Church of St. Bartholomew (kostel Sv. Bartolomeje), parish church of Pardubice Roman Catholic parish, is one of the most historically and architectonically valuable monuments in the city.

St. Bartholomew was erected at the site of Cyriac convent burnt during Hussit Wars by Vilém of Pernstein (Vilém z Pernštejna) as a Pernstein burial site in 1507-1514. The church is a late-Gothic wide three nave hall cross vaulted structure with pentagonal presbytery and high saddle roof with slender ridge (sanctus) turret. Church was gradually upgraded in Renaissance style by Jan of Pernstein (Jan z Pernštejna; e.g. new Renaissance gable, highly decorated northern portal, choir empores, tribune etc.), especially after it was damaged by fire in 1538.

The church was redically reconstructed and extended in 1912, when spacious decorated (mosaics, paintings, sculptures) neo-Renaissance western hall with a new main entrance portal was added. The new front facade is decorated by Czech national saints (St. Ludmila, St. Wenceslaus and St. Prokopius) mosaics designed by Mikoláš Aleš. The church's interior with main St. Bartholomew altar (1651) is also very valuable winth many interesting artistic elements (pulpit, Calvary, tumb of Vojtech of Pernstein, epitaph stones etc.) from both Renaissance nad Baroque periods.
