Bay Marker is an unusual spiral lookout that gives 360 degree views over the Sydney Olympic Park in Homebush and the surrounding city and river landscape, accessed only by walking or cycle track.

Known as The Markers, these five Sydney Olympic Park Markers are a series of conical shaped earth mounds 10-20m high which were made from material unsuitable for re-use in construction of the area. The markers resemble the Southern Cross on the Australian flag. These 'geometric forms' are easily accessible on bike, wheelchair or foot and serve to orient the visitor within the park, providing extended views of the Park.
The five markers are:
1. Bay Marker at Wentworth Common
2. Haslam’s Marker at Southern End of Hill Road
3. River Marker at Blaxland Riverside Park
4. Silverwater Marker next to Woo-la-ra
5. Bicentennial Marker on Australia Avenue
This particular waymark is the Bay Marker at Wentworth Common giving views over the Olympic Park and Stadium, and views as far as the special housing built for Olympic Village accommodation. You can also see over the wetlands, Haslams Creek, Homebush Bay and the city skyline. To reach the summit you will have to walk along the spiraling track or perhaps you could cheat and climb up the stone walls. At the top are several information panels explaining the view. The track is suitable for wheelchairs, walkers and cycles.
