L'église de Sainte-Rose-de-Lima est un lieu de culte catholique construit de 1852 à 1856. Le plan de ce bâtiment en pierre est composé d'une nef rectangulaire à trois vaisseaux et d'un choeur plus étroit terminé par une abside en hémicycle. D'inspiration néoclassique, sa façade monumentale en pierre de taille présente un avant-corps central flanqué de deux tours surmontées d'un clocher. L'avant-corps est orné de pilastres supportant un entablement et un fronton. Une sacristie en pierre de plan rectangulaire à deux étages et demi, coiffée d'un toit à deux versants légèrement retroussés, est greffée à l'abside dans le prolongement du choeur. L'église est implantée en retrait de la voie publique sur un terrain bordé à l'arrière par la rivière des Mille Îles. Le lieu de culte est situé dans un noyau institutionnel, au centre du secteur Sainte-Rose de la ville de Laval.

The church of Sainte-Rose-de-Lima is a Catholic place of worship built from 1852 to 1856. The plan of this stone building consists of a rectangular nave with three ships and a narrower choir finished by a Apse in the hemicycle. Neoclassical in inspiration, its monumental stone facade has a central forepart flanked by two towers surmounted by a bell tower. The fore-body is decorated with pilasters supporting an entablature and a pediment. A rectangular two-and-a-half-storey stone sacristy, with a roof with two slightly sloping sides, is grafted to the apse in the continuation of the choir. The church is set back from the public road on land bordered to the rear by the Thousand Islands River. The place of worship is located in an institutional nucleus, in the center of the Sainte-Rose sector of the city of Laval.
