A pretty good-sized church resides just off Henley Hornbrook Rd, painted light blue with a hand-cut lava rock siding and a large, brown cross that welcomes churchgoers. Unfortunately, the church website domain name has expired. They have an unofficial Facebook page. The church sign off the road mentions the church pastor as David Perham. The church offers a Sunday School.
Hornbrook was a thriving community for many decades in the late 1800s as a gold-mining town and then later and a railroad and logging town. The disappearance of all these once-active economies has caused the town to suffer greatly over recent years. This church is one of the few nice buildings still standing in town.
