A marble bust of painter, novelist, playwright, and poet Santiago Rusiñol is located along Carrer de la Princesa at the Plaça de La Puntual in the Gothic section of Barcelona.

A 0.85 x 0.60 x 0.36 meter white marble bust of Santiago Rusiñol rest on top of a 1.88 x 0.45 x 0.43 meter white marble base. Santiago Rusiñol is depicted from the neck up. He has a full beard, mustache, and head of hair parted on the left. He is looking straight ahead.

After the death of Rusiñol group of friends joined together to finance this bust in memory of the writer and painter. The sculpture was created by Enric Clarasó in 1935. It was installed in its present location in 2001.

Santiago Rusiñol was born in on February 25, 1861 in Barcelona, Spain. His first trained as painter at Centro de Acuarelistas de Barcelona and became one of the leaders of the Catalan modernisme movement. During his life he created numerous paintings and drawings and developed a style of art he called visual poetry. He is particularly noted for a series of paintings of Spanish gardens.

Santiago Rusiñol was also a prolific writer. His works include dramas, parodies, novels and textbooks on the theory of art. Three of his writings are the Spanish equivalent to French symbolism and decadentism:

His plays include:
